Clipping Mask (Alt+Ctrl+G):
This clipping mask is used to placed the image into any type of shapes. Create the new document and draw any shape or select Marquee tool to draw the rectangle or Elipse, create new layer (shift+Ctrl+N), fill color to be applied. Go-to file place embedded to import the image Then right click on the image layer, select create clipping mask. The image is place inside the shapes.
Important is image layer is top of the shape layer.
When, firstly import the image to convert the smart object after create clipping mask to place the image into any shape.If you clarify to select the image layer or not, otherwise if you select the shape layer you will not create clipping Mask.Clipping mask is used to web design and banner designs and so on.
