Layer Mask :
A layer mask is a hiding process or masking the objects. create a new document and import the image then placed it. Go to layer panel and select the layer mask or select layer on the menu bar->Layer mask, it has some options Reveal All, Hide All, From Transparency.
- Mask is two variety, hide the object and reveal the object.
- Create a mask is a white mask to select the brush tool, increase or decrease the brush size
- If you select the mask layer and draw over the image to masking is applied.
- When using masking to 3 colors are used white, black, 50% gray.
The white mask applies the image you select the black color to mask the image, press ctrl+Backspace to change to black color mask.
When black color mask to select the white color to masking the images.
Access this option to menubar->layer->Layer mask->reveal All to white masking and hide all to black masking, another option is from transparency to mask is applied to the object. Click the mask layer and select the brush tool and brush the image, you want areas to masked.
