1.History Brush Tool (Y) :

History Brush tool is used to highlight the images or object. Create the new document or import the images,unlock the layer and duplicate the layer then go to image on menu bar and Adjustment and select Hue and saturation, pop up the window decrease the saturation. The image goes to dim or black,if selected the history Brush tool, adjust a brush size,opacity,flow.then draw the image you want that particular image is highlighted.you want see below examples.

2.Art History Brush Tool (Y) :

Art history brush tool is used draw the painting images on existing image.If you select a art history brush tool and enable the option bar, brush size,blending modes,opacity,flow and styles,area, tolerance.Import the image unlock layer and duplicate the layer,select the styles option and select any style to draw over the image finally select the Tight Medium and reduce the brush size into 4 to 6 then you will create the paint image.Then finally get the image is similar to oil painting image.
